USCS-logo-2013-for-marqueeAtlanta, GA – October 16, 2014 – Nearly $25,000 is up for grabs when the United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters invades historic Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on Friday October 31st and Saturday, November 1st including a $5100 winner’s share for the first driver to reach the www.rockauto.com USCS Victory Lane in the 51-lap K&N “Fabulous 51” A-Main finale. The two-day racing event serves as the 2014 season finale for the historic ¼ mile track and is the 33rd event of the 18th anniversary USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour.

The USCS presented by K&N Filters winged sprint car racing format on Friday night features a racing program that includes the Hoosier Tire Speed Dash for the top six cars from the previous main event followed by the sprint car qualifying heat races. The top eight qualified drivers then compete for the top starting spots in the K&N Filters Pole Scramble event that will determine the line-up for the front four rows of Saturday night’s lengthy 51-lap USCS K&N “Fabulous 51” main event, the longest of the season for either the track or the series.

On Saturday evening the USCS winged sprint cars will contest a series of B-Main/Last Chance races that determine the final line-up for the 51-lap main event. Joining the winged sprint cars for the United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) $50,100+ season finale will be the popular 600+horsepower K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds.

The schedule also includes the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series for winged 600 mini sprints. Additionally the Limited/Crate Late Models and Mid-South Street Stock Challenge divisions along with each of the USCS divisions will contest two nights of wide-open racing to complete the series’ 2014 visits to the historic speedway during their 65th anniversary season.
A list of early pre-entries will be posted during next week.
