Weekly Racing Series Championship Banquet coming up on Nov. 1st!

Lucas Oil SpeedwayWHEATLAND, MO (October 22nd, 2014) – The annual Lucas Oil Speedway Budweiser Weekly Racing Series Championship Banquet will be held on Saturday, November 1st at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri. The banquet will include dinner and a formal program to honor all drivers in the top-10 in the final season long points standings in the (4) Budweiser Weekly Racing Series classes. Each driver in attendance will receive a custom diamond shaped trophy along with a combination of cash and contingency awards.

“We are thrilled to return to University Plaza in Springfield for our annual Championship Banquet as the facility is second to none in this area and provides a fitting location to accommodate the large crowd of racers, crews, sponsors, and fans that attend the festivities each year.” commented Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson.
University Plaza is located in downtown Springfield near Hammons Field and Hammons Tower. The street address is 333 John Q. Hammons Parkway, Springfield, MO 65806. Doors will open at 5:30pm with a social hour from 6-7pm followed by dinner and the awards program. A cash bar will also be available. Dress code is Business Casual.

Tickets may be purchased or reserved prior to Oct. 28th and are $35 per person. Tickets are available by calling La Ray Hankins at the Lucas Oil Speedway track office at (417) 282-5984 or by email at Laray@LucasOilSpeedway.com. For guaranteed seating, please RSVP no later than Oct. 28th to La Ray.

Group guest room rates including a standard room w/king bed or dbl/dbl is available for $79 based on availability. This rate includes a complimentary full hot breakfast buffet provided in the Terrace Grill Restaurant. For room reservations, please call (417) 864-7333 and mention “Lucas Oil Speedway Banquet”. Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, MO. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it’s entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
