WHEATLAND, MO (October 22nd, 2014) – The annual Lucas Oil Speedway Budweiser Weekly Racing Series Championship Banquet will be held on Saturday, November 1st at the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri. The banquet will include dinner and a formal program to honor all drivers in the top-10 in the final season long points standings in the (4) Budweiser Weekly Racing Series classes. Each driver in attendance will receive a custom diamond shaped trophy along with a combination of cash and contingency awards.
“We are thrilled to return to University Plaza in Springfield for our annual Championship Banquet as the facility is second to none in this area and provides a fitting location to accommodate the large crowd of racers, crews, sponsors, and fans that attend the festivities each year.” commented Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson.
University Plaza is located in downtown Springfield near Hammons Field and Hammons Tower. The street address is 333 John Q. Hammons Parkway, Springfield, MO 65806. Doors will open at 5:30pm with a social hour from 6-7pm followed by dinner and the awards program. A cash bar will also be available. Dress code is Business Casual.

With it’s entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
