The 34th Annual ‘Dirt Track World Championship’ attracted 89 competitors to the south-central Ohio facility and Dennis Erb, Jr. was gunning for the whopping $50,000 winner’s check. Dennis grabbed the second and final transfer spot through his B-Main, which lined him up starting from the outside of the twelfth row in the 100-lapper. In front of a huge crowd and the television cameras of the Lucas Oil Production Studios, the Carpentersville, Illinois standout was able to move past seventeen competitors during the daytime affair to bag a solid seventh place effort. After posting a top ten in the series finale, Dennis was officially placed ninth in the final version of the LOLMDS point standings.
