comp-camsBeebe, Arkansas (12/01/14) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil has released the working version of their 2015 schedule. The initial release of the schedule includes nineteen events spanning twenty-one nights of racing with more dates to be added in the coming weeks.

“I’m really excited about the 2015 schedule,” said CCSDS CEO, Chris Ellis. “We’ve got some really great events already schedule with more to be added. From existing tracks to new tracks to more money, our 2015 docket has the definite potential to be the best that we’ve ever had.”

The season opens on March 28th with a trip to Gene Boyter’s Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for a $10,000-to-win event that will be co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

From there the next currently scheduled event for the tour is April 17th-18th at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) with the $20,000-to-win, Bad Boy 98, which is also co-sanctioned by LOLMDS.

The month of May begins with visits to Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas) and Ark-La-Tex Speedway for a pair of $2,000-to-win events. The following weekend will find the stars and cars of the CCSDS traveling to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday, May 9th for a $2,500-to-win event, which marks the first time the tour has competed at the oval. A Friday night date at a neighboring track is likely to be added in the coming weeks.

June opens a familiar event at a new home as the annual Rockabilly 45 takes up residence at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on June 5th-6th as $1,500-to-win and $3,000-to-win programs are scheduled. The following weekend, June 12th-13th, takes the tour to a pair of facilities for the first time. First on tap will be Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) for a $3,000-to-win affair before the series invades the brand-new, East Texas Speedway (Petty, Texas) for a $2,500-to-win race. A busy June draws to a close with a potential tripleheader that currently includes $2,000-to-win events at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) and Camden Speedway (Camden, Tennessee).

For the second straight year Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) will host a pair of events over the fourth of July weekend with $1,500-to-win and $3,000-to-win purses on the line July 3rd-4th. The following weekend, July 10th-11th, is currently being finalized, while July 31st will see the tour in action at Timberline Speedway (Maud, Texas) battling for $2,000-to-win.

The month of August kicks off with a $2,000-to-win event at I-30 Speedway before the tour goes into war with the LOLMDS in the 23rd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 on August 14th-15th at Batesville Motor Speedway.

The inaugural Triple Crown will come to life for the tour on September 4th-6th as Crowley’s Ridge Raceway, Batesville Motor Speedway, and Greenville Speedway each contest $3,000-to-win shows. The 2015 season for the CCSDS concludes on September 26th with the 9th Annual Mid-South Dirt Track Championship, which will post a $3,000 check to the winner of the event at I-30 Speedway.

More events will be added in the coming weeks.
