(YORK, PENNSYLVANIA) World of Outlaws Late Model Series stalwart Rick Eckert announced today that he has teamed up with Paul Crowl Racing on a full-time basis in 2015 for an all-out assault on the national touring series! After driving a limited number of races regionally for Crowl’s #7 team in recent years, Rick will hit the track in 2015 behind the wheel of brand-new MasterSbilt by Huey (MBH) machines powered by ground-pounding Cornett Racing Engines. Along with all of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series dates, Rick will also tackle crown jewel events such as the ‘Knoxville Late Model Nationals’ and ‘Dirt Track World Championship,’ along with several area Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shows at Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland and Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania.

The newly-formed team will start their 2015 campaign during “Speedweeks” in Georgia and Florida. Rick will sling dirt at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida, and Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. In all and weather pending, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will start their season with seven showdowns during “Speedweeks,” while the UMP DIRTcar Series will preside over a handful of dates at those three facilities. You can view all of the schedule plans for Rick and Paul Crowl Racing by pointing your web browser to www.RickEckertRacing.com.

Along with long-standing sponsors and supporters of both Rick Eckert and Paul Crowl Racing joining forces for the 2015 season, Shawn and Lisa Martin with Viper Motorsports have also partnered with the team. They have committed to provide three MasterSbilt by Huey racecars, which will be paired with Paul Crowl’s arsenal of Cornett Racing Engines. The team will utilize Rick’s recognizable orange transporter and will race out of Eckert’s race shop in York, Pennsylvania.

“I am really excited about everything we have put together and everyone associated with our team is ready for a great 2015 season,” exclaimed Paul Crowl via telephone recently. “I have to thank all of my personal sponsors that have been involved with Paul Crowl Racing forever and I also have to thank Rick (Eckert) for coming aboard and bringing his superb driving talent, as well as providing the hauler and race shop. Then of course, a huge thank you goes to Shawn and Lisa Martin with Viper Risk Management for supplying the new racecars for Rick to drive all season long.”

“A whole lot of great people are behind us and this new race team and I can’t thank all of them enough,” Crowl went on to say. “Joe Darrah and J&K Salvage have stepped up to allow Robert “Big Bob” Miller to go back out on the road as our tire man. We are also searching for a crew chief and hope to have something in place with that as soon as possible. Plus, Tader Masters and Billy Vacek with MasterSbilt by Huey will be at a lot of the races providing us with a great deal of technical support. I think we have put all of the pieces together to have a very successful year!”

Paul Crowl Racing would like to thank all of the valuable sponsors on their #7v car in 2015 including: Viper Risk Management Group, P&J Contractors, National Concrete, Priority Construction, T.E. Jeff Construction, BMW Construction Spec, Monumental Paving & Excavating, American Paving Fabrics, Lillie Dane Seal Coating & Line Striping, J&K Salvage, Eckert Trucking, Ritchey Sandblasting, RCW Transport, LB Express, All About Wraps, MasterSbilt by Huey, Cornett Racing Engines, Wix Filters, Valvoline Racing Oil, Precise Racing, VP Race Fuels, Quarter Master, Allstar Performance, Peterson Fluid Systems, FK Rod Ends, Beyea Headers, Hoosier Racing Tires, The Bolt Patrol, Delph Communications, DMI Rear Ends, Few Grafix, and In Loving Memory of Raye Vest.

“I think this is just an awesome deal that we have put together,” commented new partner Shawn Martin. “Rick is one of the best drivers in the country and you can’t find a more honest guy that we would rather have driving our cars. Me and my wife Lisa have been involved in motorsports for a long time in both Late Model and Sprint racing, but nothing has ever come together like this deal we have right here. Paul Crowl is such a great guy and we get along great – racing needs more people like him. We have a lot of awesome people involved in this new team and I look forward to a long-term partnership with both Rick and Paul!”

The latest dirt on “Scrub” Rick Eckert can be found online at his official website, which is located at www.RickEckertRacing.com. A new site for Paul Crowl Racing will be launched in the upcoming weeks!
