BCS14Logo-01Millstadt, IL. – Belle-Clair Speedway will re-open in 2015 with a 20-race schedule, under new management from Performance Open Wheel Racing Inc. (POWRi). POWRi will sanction the open-wheel racing, while Allied will continue to sanction the stock car divisions, following UMP DIRTcar rules. To open the season, Belle-Clair will begin racing on the typical Friday nights that teams and fans are accustomed to seeing. However, after the break for Memorial Day weekend and the Shriners Circus, the facility will switch to mostly Sunday nights in an effort to allow for three nights of local racing in the region. The 20-race schedule will continue Belle-Clair’s traditional events including the Klein Klassic “28,” the Don Klein 100 lapper, the Knepper and Meents memorials, as well as the fan-favorite Battles at Belle-Vegas.

New events on the 2015 schedule sure to quickly gain fan-liking, include the April 3rd, April 17th, and May 1st $9.99 Fan Appreciation Nights hosting UMP Modifieds, B-Mods, Street Stocks, and BOSS Micros. On these specific events, the general admission price will be lowered to $9.99, while still ensuring that the fans see an excellent show. In addition to the Fan Appreciation Nights, making their first appearance at the 1/5th mile Belle-Clair Speedway in 2015 will be the Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) Sprint Car Series on Sunday, June 14th. The MOWA event is already a highly anticipated show, one that fans surely will not want to miss.

The most-visited track on the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series schedule in 2015, Belle-Clair Speedway will host the midgets a total of seven times, making their recurring appearances as thrilling as the slide-job battles themselves. The Sunday, June 7th event will be the grand finale to POWRi’s third annual SPEED Week. In addition to the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series specials, Belle-Clair will also host the always-awaited UMP DIRTcar Late Model Summer Nationals event taking place on Wednesday, June 24th.

With five scheduled Test & Tunes on the docket list, drivers and teams will have many opportunities to visit the track and dial in their machines, the earliest being Tuesday, March 24th. Fans, drivers, and teams can rest assured that the racing at Belle-Clair Speedway will be some of the most competitive battles seen in 2015.
