Springfield RacewaySpringfield, Mo.- Entries are being accepted for the 2nd Annual Liquid Nitro B Modified Nations to be held April 8-11th with the winner of the 66 Lap feature collecting $6600 while starting the feature will pay $1300 to start the Main Event in the 24 car field. This is a pre-entry event only and is limited to the 1st 200 pre-paid entry. Last season Springfield’s JC Morton didn’t lock himself into the feature until Saturday Night and then charged from his 10th starting spot after winning the 2nd last chance event to take home the top honors with a GM Performance 602 Crate Motor.

This event is set for the weekend warriors of the B Mod or Limited Modified drivers. A very structure set of guidelines is set to see if a driver is eligible to compete. Entry Fee for this high profile event is only $250 dollars while drivers have 4 different B Mod rules packages to pick from to compete under. Drivers have several chances to make the starting field as Qualifying heats begin on Wed, April 8th as 12 heat races will see the winners earn a spot in the Qualifying feature while 10 B features will have each winner also advancing. The top 4 from each night’s Qualifying feature from Wed, Thursday and Friday night lock themselves in as Saturday Night will feature 10 last chance events with 2 provisional spots available from a random draw.     • We will limit the number of entries to 200 on a first come first serve basis.
    • Entries will be accepted until April 2nd by mail and April 5th online.
    • Pre-entry checks cannot be post- dated via mail option only.

DRIVER ELIGIBILITY

Top 25 in 2014 National points in any of the following sanctioning series are ineligible to compete. (A-mod and Late Model), IMCA Late models, IMCA Modified, USRA Modified, WISSOTA Modified, WISSOTA Late model, UMP Modified, UMP Late model, NCRA Modified, NCRA Late Model
2014 Top 25 in National Touring Series points, World Of Outlaw Late Models, USMTS, Hawkeye Dirt Tour Series, USCS, MLRA, MARS, Lucas Oil Late Model
Qualified for the “A” main in any of the following races (A-mod and Late Model classes) 2013 or 2014 Qualifying night A-mains do not count Doug Murphy Memorial, IMCA Super Nationals, Duel In The Desert, Fall Jamboree, World Modified Dirt Track Championship, King of America, Harris Clash, WISSOTA 100 in either Modified or Late model, UMP DIRTcar Nationals in either Modified or Late Model, UMP DIRTcar Fall Nationals. No Track Champions in A Mod or Late Model Divisions.

* Springfield Raceway reserves the right to refuse entry to anybody who we feel has significant accomplishments outside of the B-Mod/ Sport Mod spectrum. The same panel of last years race will be screening Drivers for eligibility.

RULES PACKAGE:

This event is an un-sanctioned event. However all B-mods must declare which sanctioning body rules they would like to run under & must have their Rules of choose on left front sail panel.  All cars must be 3 link and adhere to the rule package of either:

Option1: Wissota Midwest Mod Rules…NO REAR SPOILER
Option2: USRA B Mod Rules ….NO REAR SPOILER
Option3: IMCA Northern Sport Mod Rules may groove and sipe tires
Option4: IMCA Southern Sport Mod Rules: Southern Sport Mod Tire Rule: Hoosier H500 or IMCA 500 only (27x8x15 or 26.5x8x15 only)

NO mixing of rules will be permitted! All cars will be run through a prerace tech prior to racing and drivers must have mark with the sanctioning body of choice on left front sail panels. Please understand completely the rule package you choose.

POST RACE TECH

Competitors using a sealed GM 602 crate engine; We will thoroughly test these engines by any means we have, cubic inch tester, whistle for compression ratio, valve spring tester, scope, compression tester, etc .Springfield Raceway reserves the right to disassemble engine to any degree needed to verify the legality of the engine. If the tech official feels that some or all components of the engine need to be checked further by sending the components in question to an authorized GM rebuilder of Springfield Raceways choice, winnings and awards will be held until engine is found legal. Tear down will be finished no longer than 10 days after the race. The tech officials decisions are final.
Competitors using a spec engine; We will thoroughly test these engines by any means we have, cubic inch tester, whistle for compression ratio, valve spring tester, scope compression tester, etc. Springfield Raceway reserves the right to disassemble engine to any degree needed to verify the legality of the engine. If any part such as heads need to be sent to the manufacturer to verify their legality, winnings will be withheld until results are received, no longer than 10 days after the race. If the competitors heads are found legal, Springfield Raceway will be liable for all shipping expenses. If the competitors heads are found illegal competitor will be liable for all expenses. The tech officials decisions are final.

TIRE TESTING

Springfield Raceway reserves the right to take samples of any competitors tires at any point during the event, prior to race or post-race. Springfield Raceway reserves the right to confiscate any 1 tire from any competitor in the A-main or non-qualifiers race. Tire sniffer may be used also but samples may be sent to the lab of Springfield choice, Springfield Raceway will have final say in tires legality. If tire sniffs above pre determined benchmarks this could cause automatic disqualifications resulting in NO PAY. Any tire not meeting the manufacturer’s benchmark will be deemed illegal and the competitor will forfeit all winnings and awards. The tech officials decisions are final.

CONDUCT:  The Raceway will treat Drivers & Crew Members with respect.  Drivers and crew members will treat Raceway officials with respect, failure to do so may result in automatic disqualification for driver with no pay.

RACE FORMAT:

Format may be changed depending on CAR COUNT.  All drivers will draw for heat race starting position. All drivers will draw from same draw bucket Wednesday Night.  If you draw from numbers 1-100 on Wednesday you will draw from a 101-200 pill draw on Thursday .If you draw 101-200 on Wednesday you will draw from numbers 1-100 on Thursday. ALL Drivers will draw out of same bucket on Friday…
We will run 12 heats on Wednesday Thursday & Friday. Heat Races will be 12 – 20 laps depending on car count.
Winner of Heat Race will go to A-Main qualifier.
Winners of heats will re draw for A-Main Qualifier starting positions.
All other cars will go to one of 10 B-Mains, lined up by heat race finish. Each B-Main will be 20 laps.
Winner of each B-Main will advance to A Main Qualifier.
Top 4 Cars from A-Main Qualifier on Wednesday will be the first 4 rows on inside of 66 Lap Main Event on Saturday.
Top 4 Cars from A-Main Qualifier Thursday will be the first 4 rows middle of 66 Lap Main Event on Saturday.
Top 4 Cars from A-Main Qualifier Friday will be the first 4 rows on outside of 66 Lap Main Event on Saturday.
5-22 place finishing cars from A-Main Qualifier from Wednesday, Thursday & Friday will be the first rows of B-Mains on a Saturday.
Racer can use best finish from A-Main Qualifier Wed. Thur. or Fri for B Main line up on Saturday.
All other Cars will redraw Saturday for their starting position starting behind the Cars already qualified for B Mains. Line up will be lower number to high number.
Saturday we will run 10 B-Mains & take the winner from each B-Main to the 66 lap Main Event.

2nd & 3rd Place from Saturdays B-mains will advance to a $1000 to win $150 to start Non-Qualifier race. Qualifier race will line up heads-up from the B mains.
We will have two Provisionals for the 66 lap A-Main on Saturday.
We will draw one name from the cars in the Non Qualifier Race.
We will draw one name from the cars that didn’t make Non Qualifiers Race.
2 Driver Provisionals will forfeit their non-qualifiers money when the start A-Main.

SATURDAYS A-MAIN:  Race will be a 66 lap feature. We will start 24 cars, the top 4 cars from Wednesday will be lined up on inside rows 1-4…Thursday top 4 will be lined up in middle rows 1-4…Friday top 4 will be lined up in rows outside 1-4 rows the 12 cars from Saturdays B mains will fill in the final positions & 2 provisionals.
No hot laps Friday or Saturday unless needed.
