Highland Speedway and Belle Clair Speedway are once again teaming up for a weekend of racing. Belle Claire will start on Friday with the Shamrock 40. Highland Speedway will continue on Saturday, March 28th with the Lucky 40. Classes running for both tracks will be UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks & Micros. There will be a bonus of $1,000 if any UMP Late Model driver can sweep both events by taking the checkered flag at both tracks. If there are two different winners, the money will be split between the top three average finishers as follows – 1st – $500, 2nd – $300, 3rd – $200.
Belle-Clair Speedway will open the pits at 4pm on March 27th with hotlaps rolling off at 6pm. Racing action is set to kick off immediately after hotlaps. General admission is $15 with kids 12 and under FREE for this event.
Highland Speedway will open the pits at 3:00 pm. Pit passes are $35. Children under 12 are $20 and must be accompanied by an adult. Grandstand opens at 5:30 pm. Children 12 and under are free. Students ages 13 – 17 are $10. Adults are $15. Box seats are $20. Children can sign up behind the ticket booth for the JR Fan Club. Racing starts at 6:45 pm.
Donnewald Distributing will sponsor the Lucky 40. They are bringing giveaways and you just have to purchase a 50/50 ticket to win.
