MATT LANE WINS AT TRI-STATE SPEEDWAY’S MODIFIED OPENER

Tri-State Speedway Haubstadt, IN – April 18, 2015 – The UMP Open Wheel Modified class raced to close out the program. It was opening night at the speedway and the cars were wrapped in new glistening paint. The 25 lap feature was won by regular competitor Matt Lane of Fort Branch, IN.
Lane took the victory over Grant Hagan from Owensboro, KY and Dustin Beck from Winslow, IN.. Shawn Cates and Matt Hines rounded out the top five.

Bradley Sterrett and Hagan won the two heat races. The modifieds will be on the program again on Sunday May 3rd when the World of Outlaws make their annual visit to Tri-State Speedway. That night the modified will be running for $1,000 to win.
