Lucas Oil SpeedwayWHEATLAND, MO (April 28th, 2015) –  Impact Signs Awnings Wraps out of Sedalia, Missouri presents the 4th Annual Impact Signs Awnings Wraps Open Wheel Showdown this Saturday, May 2nd at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The mega open wheel event features the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region Winged Sprint Cars, the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series, and the Impact Signs Awnings Wraps WAR Wingless Auto Racing Sprint Cars presented by Next LED.

“If this show doesn’t get you pumped for the racing season, nothing will!” exclaimed Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson. “Where else in the country can you see ASCS Winged Sprint Cars, the POWRi National Midget Series, and WAR Non-Wing Sprint Cars on the same night! Although its been a cool and rainy spring so far, the forecast this Saturday calls for sunny skies and temps approaching 80 degrees so it should be a fantastic day for open wheel racing.

Pocahontas, Illinois’ Zach Daum, the 2013 and 2014 Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series Champion and 2014 Open Wheel Showdown event winner sits atop the POWRi standings early in the 2015 season. Darren Hagan holds down the second spot while Missouri favorite Andrew Felker out of Carl Junction, Missouri sits in third. Hot shoes Austin Brown and Christopher Bell round out the top-5.
