CONCORD, N.C. – May 4, 2015 – The World of Outlaws and DIRTcar Racing announce today the Kenny Wallace Dirt Racing Experience will be the Official Driving Experience of the World of Outlaws and DIRTcar Racing.
In addition to a long career in NASCAR, Kenny Wallace has raced on dirt for more than 10 years. Wallace, who won the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Summer Nationals championship in 2012, is eager to showcase his excitement for grassroots racing.
“I have a passion for dirt racing that I’d like to share with all the race fans,” Wallace said. “When I look back on the history of auto racing, drivers like Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Kasey Kahne all started on dirt. I want the fans to be able to feel what these great drivers have felt in their careers.”
Fans can expect to see Kenny Wallace Driving Experience cars on display during select World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, World of Outlaws Late Model Series and Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified Series events in 2015, and in some cases could win chances to ride along with a professional driver at an event.
“We are very excited to introduce the Kenny Wallace Driving Experience, it’s designed to take the average fan and put them behind the wheel of a dirt car,” said Kenny Wallace Driving Experience President Mark Ebert. “We will run several different style of dirt cars, including Sprint Cars, Late Models, Northeast Modifieds and UMP Modifieds.
“As the official racing experience of World of Outlaws we’ll be able to take the fan experience to the next level and put people in the same style of the cars that they watch at World of Outlaws events. It should let the average fan see just what these guys experience every week!”
