After an exciting program of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series short track action last Saturday at The “High-Banks” of The Lebanon I-44 Speedway how do you top that, easy another high level program of competition along with country recording artist Ben Bradford performing on Regional Radio KJEL Night at the races brings the evening and energy level even higher.

Ben Bradford grew up influenced by some of country’s biggest heavyweights – Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Kenny Chesney. After some great results in the Texaco Country Showdown a local radio station recognized his talent and called on him to open one of their shows for Colt Ford, and soon he was on his way to Nashville to pursue his dream full force. Since then, he’s had the chance to open for acts like Chris Young, Colt Ford, and Grace Potter, and is currently writing with some of Nashville’s best writers.
Last year Ben took “Tequila Makes the World Go Round” straight to the top of the charts and Saturday night during KJEL 103.7 Night at the Races will be his first live performance of his latest single “Just a Little Bit” after its Nashville release this today.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Pro Late Model point leader is 1 of 6 different Pro Late Model feature winners this season out of 6 features and is clinging to a 36 point margin over defending Missouri State NASCAR Division 1 Champion Kaleb Allison while the big mover was last week’s winner Paul Jepsen vaulting to 3rd place as the battle for 3rd through 11th is very tight and the level of talent is at an all-time high.

Budweiser Modified point leader Tim Swearengin is still looking for his 1st feature win this season, but has placed 2nd three times along with four 3rd place finishes shows front running consistency. Last week former three time champion David Bates drove to a strong feature win to capture his 2nd win
rdin 2015. The big mover was rookie Todd Lauvray climbing to 3in the standings as defending champion Stephen Counterman finally shook off a rough start with a fast runner-up finish.

Sportsman driver and opening night winner Aaron Douglas moved back into the top spot by 10 points over “The Gentle Giant” JC Newell while Little JC Newell held off a hard charging Ken Dickinson in his 1st Sportsman race of the season adding another talented driver to the highly competitive and growing class.

Lebanon’s Hoosier Street Stock driver Jordan Nisbett earned a hard fought 3rd feature win last week in a 5 car battle along with extending his point lead over Les Mallard while the battle for 3rd through 10th is very tight. Another rookie, lady driver Lauren Buhr earned her 2nd heat race win and has Zack Morgan and others in a bumper to bumper battle while Lebanon’s Chris Johnson has been fast and Nick Cherry is climbing up the ladder in the standings.

For Rolla’s Coca-Cola Charger driver Ben White it was double the pleasure, double the fun as he won both features last week making 5 wins and jumping ahead of Jimmy Poindexter by only 12 points while Nik Taylor is knocking at the door of getting his 1st feature win and Japheth Nisbett had a strong showing after a hard crash 3 weeks ago. Mark Glorfeld made his 1st race of the season with 2 top 5 finishes and Larry Hunter is starting to get the bugs worked out of his new car in the Speedway’s entry level class.
