About Foley Equipment
Foley Equipment Company’s (formerly Foley Tractor Co., Inc.) roots go back to the early 1940’s when Paul J. Foley had the opportunity to assist a newly formed dealership in Wichita. Foley, who worked at the time in the Treasury Department of Caterpillar® Tractor Company in Peoria, Illinois, was asked to join this new firm and the Karcher-Wolter-Foley Company was formed.

In 1940, Mr. Foley purchased his partners’ interests in the dealership and the company became known as Foley Tractor Company.

The rest of the 1940’s saw expanding oil field and agriculture opportunities and Foley expanded with new stores in Great Bend and Pratt. In 1958, Foley Tractor Co. acquired Roberts Tractor Company in Western Kansas and part of Oehlert Tractor Company in central Kansas.

During the next 20 years, significant changes came about for both Foley Tractor and Caterpillar. Caterpillar introduced industrial and truck engines and Foley Tractor responded by expanding with an engine division, now known as Foley Power Solutions.

In 1973, Paul Foley’s son, Paul J. (Skip) Foley Jr., became president of the company. Caterpillar and Foley continued to grow with several new product introductions in the 80’s and 90’s. These products included backhoe loaders, building construction products, compact construction equipment, and agricultural tractors and equipment.

In 1997, Skip Foley’s daughter, Ann Konecny, became president. Foley Rental – The Cat Rental Store was opened in 1999. As technology became increasingly essential to customer success, Foley entered the Trimble/Accugrade machine control and guidance business in 2004. In 2007 Foley’s engine rebuild operation was expanded with the addition of a 125,000 square foot engine remanufacturing facility in Park City, Kansas. Foley acquired the assets of Martin Tractor Company in 2009, expanding the territory from 50 to 99 counties in Kansas.

In 2012, Foley expanded again with the acquisition of Dean Machinery. From 19 locations in 14 cities, Foley Equipment serves 104 of 105 counties in Kansas and 40 counties in western Missouri, including the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Since 1940, Foley has earned a reputation for dedication, quality and value. Thank you for allowing us to be Your First Choice. For more info, please visit www.FoleyEQ.com.

The USRA B-Mods and the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks will also be tackling the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks” this Saturday as both classes will be running for valuable Lucas Oil Speedway points.

The Battle of the Badges will also race on August 8th as the race will feature Missouri’s finest Law Enforcement Officers, all racing to raise money for charity and for the title of “Top Cop”.

The officers will be driving late model Ford Crown Victoria’s that will provide a “cop car” look for the race. Each driver seeks the support of sponsors and must raise at least $500 dollars per race to compete.

All the cars on the track were at one point police cruisers. Some of these cars went on to be taxi cabs and have racked up over 300,000 miles on them. Some were pulled out of junk yards and have been given a second chance.

The driver and their crew members have stripped the vehicles of their factory interior and replaced it with roll cages and the safety equipment necessary to be on the track. The Battle of the Badges race will raise money for Special Olympics.

Don’t miss a minute of the racing action or a second of the fun this Saturday Night at Lucas Oil Speedway!
