Springfield, Mo.- The 2nd Annual Reliable Chevrolet B Mod OPEN $10,000 to win at The “Quick-Quarter” of The Springfield Raceway will see the feature winner pocket a cool $10,000 to win while just starting the October 3rd Feature will pay $1,000 on the racy High-Banked ¼ mile dirt oval.

For this event and the amount of top notch drivers all over, entries are being accepted by any driver from any type of racing class.Yes, ALL Drivers are eligible to enter for this event.Drivers have 1 of 4 set of rules to run under. The popular USRA B Mod rules ( no Rear Spoiler), The Wissota Midwest Mod rules( No Rear Spoiler), The IMCA Northern Sport Mod Rules( Tires may be grooved or sipe tires), or The IMCA Southern Sport Mod in which the tire rule is the Hoosier H500 or IMCA 500 (27x8x15 or 26.5x8x15 only). No mixing or matching of the rules packages.

“ This event was in the past limited to only the weekly B-Mod Drivers last season, but with the tight rules package on the cars and the weekly drivers who compete every weekend, we really feel that they have the advantage over drivers from other classes of racing, so this year we have opened the Entry list to anyone.’ Quoted co-owner Jerry Hoffman.

Action will begin with a practice session on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon & racing action beginning on Thursday evening October 1st as drivers will attempt to qualify for the inside row. Drivers draw for heat race spots and each winner advances to a Qualifying feature with each redrawing for the starting spots. Then the rest of the field will be placed in ‘B Features with a chance to move into the Qualifying Feature for that night.
For Friday Night October 2nd, the draw will be flipped as those who drew the lower half of pills will draw from the higher numbers while the drivers who drew high Thursday get to pick from the lower numbers for the heats. Even if you don’t make the Qualifying feature each night, the higher you run the better starting spot you get in the October 3rd Saturday’s “B” features as drivers attempt one last time to make ”The Big Show Presented By “The Big Lot At Reliable Chevrolet”.

There will be a Non-Qualifiers feature paying $800 to the winner while that race pays $300 to Start.

Last season Springfield’s JC Morton qualified on the final night and came from his 12th starting spot to capture the 66 lap feature over a STAR-Studded field in his GM 602 Crate Motor as 3 wide racing kept everyone guessing and excited.
