Chad Kinder Captures Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Modified Fall Nationals at Spoon River

spoon-river-speedway-newBanner, IL-September 6, 2015- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series concluded its 2015 Labor Day Weekend Land of Lincoln tour with the 25th Annual Modified Fall Nationals at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, IL and Chad Kinder of Newton, IL would put his name in the record books with a win in the $5,000 to win event aboard the McLane Motors owned McLane Motors/All Star Performance/FK Rod Ends/Fergola/Mark Bush Racing/AFCO/MOPAR sponsored #22s Bandit by Mark Bush sporting a Mullins Race Engine.

Kinder would roll to the lead in the early stages of the 50 lap, $5,000 to win contest and drive to the win in the caution free affair. Ray Bollinger would motor his way to the second position in the final rundown, with Tait Davenport completing the podium finishing positions with a third place finish. Lucas Lee and Matt Cooper would complete the top five finishers.

The remainder of the top ten at the completion of the Modified Fall Modified Nationals A-Main would be polesitter Donovan Lodge, Nick Stroupe, Brent Mullins, Brandon Roberts, and 20th starting Mike Chasteen, Jr. The 50 lap, $5,000 to win event would run caution free.

In preliminary action, Max McLaughlin was the Quick Car Racing Product top qualifier among 83 entries at 14.807 seconds. Summit Racing Equipment heat one went to Donovan Lodge, while Patrick Lyon scored the win in Wiles Driveshafts heat two. Hypercoils heat three went to Tait Davenportt, with Chad Kinder winning Frankland Racing Equipment heat four. Summit Racing Equipment heat five went to Ray Bollinger, while Matt Cooper scored the win in Wiles Driveshafts heat six. The Out-Pace Racing Products B-Mains went to Lucas Lee and Max McLaughlin, while Mark Lamont and Jeff Curl were series provisional starters, with Jacob Poel, J.D. Beal, A.J. May, and Zac Oedewaldt earning the track provisional starting spots.

The next event for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is set for Saturday September 26 at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY. The event will be a $4,000 to win event.
