Moyer2(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer’s 2015 win total hit double digits on Sunday, September 6, as he claimed his tenth triumph of the year in the annual running of the ‘Baltes Classic’ at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio! Billy clicked off the thirteenth fastest lap overall during the American Late Model Series (ALMS) qualifying session prior to picking up the victory in his heat race. After starting the main event from the pole position, Billy officially led each and every circuit of the 25-lap ‘Baltes Classic’ to cash the $3,000 payday ahead of Jimmy Mars, Kent Robinson, Duane Chamberlain, and Jon Henry!

Earlier in the holiday weekend, the #21 team found themselves at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania for a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series shootouts. In Friday’s $10,000 to win ‘Working Man 50,’ Billy ran third in his heat race, but only completed seven laps in the headliner on his way to a twenty-fourth place showing. The rain-postponed ‘Firecracker 100’ was then on tap at Lernerville on Saturday and a whopping $30,000 top prize was on the line. “Mr. Smooth” finished sixth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and twenty-third in the 100-lapper after dropping a driveshaft on lap 30. Full results from the Labor Day weekend can be viewed online at www.woolms.com and www.eldoraspeedway.com.

“It feels great to get a win again at Eldora especially heading into the World 100 week,” commented Moyer following the Baltes Classic triumph. “Our car performed well and it was a good finish there with (Jimmy) Mars. We have raced each other hard and clean for a long time, so I sure appreciate that he didn’t try to slide up in front of me on that last lap because it could have been a disaster. Hopefully, this gives us some momentum as we shoot for a seventh globe trophy this weekend!”

All eyes in the Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) camp are now firmly focused on the upcoming 45th Annual ‘World 100’ on September 10-12 at the hallowed high banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The three-day crown jewel spectacular will start with a pair of Twin 25s on both Thursday and Friday, with $5,000 earmarked for the winner of each 25-lapper. Saturday’s portion of the program will once again feature heat races, consolation events, and the ‘World 100.’

A total of $318,850 will be available for “The Biggest Dirt Race in the Worldâ„¢,” with $48,000 going to the winner of the 100-lap extravaganza. Billy will be gunning for an unprecedented seventh globe trophy this weekend at the “Big E.” Additional information concerning the huge ‘World 100’ week can be viewed by pointing your web browser to www.eldoraspeedway.com.
