Springfield Raceway Turkey Bowl IX Set For Saturday November 21

Springfield RacewaySpringfield, Mo.- The 2015 racing season at Springfield Raceway and Southwest Missouri will officially end with the traditional running of the Turkey Bowl IX at The “ Quick-Quarter” of The Springfield Raceway on Saturday 21st.

This season the action will include Late Models, A-Modifieds, B-Modifieds, and Legends. The Late Models will compete for $2,000 to win and $300 to start, A-Modifieds battle for $1200 to win and $250 to start with No rear Spoilers and the leader on lap 4 will earn $400 for Performance Bodies in memory of Mike Clark. B-Modifieds duke it out for $1000 to win and $120 to start while The exciting Legends go wheel to wheel for $400 to win and $60 to start.

Defending event winners include MARS Champion Tony Jackson Jr. ( LM), Scott Crigler (A-Mods), and Kris Jackson (B-Mods). Pit gates will open at 11AM with Grandstands opening at 2PM with Racing to start around 3:30.
