Georgia-Florida Speedweeks Just One Month Away!

Lucas-Oil-Late-Model-SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (January 5, 2016) – What has been anticipated as the biggest season to-date for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is now just one month away. The nation’s premier dirt late model tour will kick off the 2016 season with a busy Georgia-Florida Speedweeks.

The nearly two-week extravaganza will begin with the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take center stage during the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing, featuring a full program each night. The action begins with the 2nd Annual Edwin Coggins Memorial on Thursday, February 4th which includes a 30-lap, $7,000-to-win main event.

The festivities will ratchet up on Friday, February 5th with a full program of racing, highlighted by a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main event.   The Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing will conclude on Saturday, February 6th with a 60-lap, $15,000-to-win event. The tour will then head to East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL on Sunday, February 7th for an open practice before six-consecutive nights of racing action. The 40th Annual Winternationals includes a full program of racing, Monday-Saturday, February 8th-13th.

Monday, February 8th – 25 Laps – $5,000-to-win
Tuesday, February 9th – 25 Laps – $5,000-to-win
Wednesday, February 10th – 35 Laps – $7,000-to-win
Thursday, February 11th – 45 Laps – $7,000-to-win
Friday, February 12th – 50 Laps – $10,000-to-win
Saturday, February 13th – 60 Laps – $12,000-to-win

The grueling Speedweeks schedule will come to a close on Sunday, February 14th as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series makes their first-ever visit to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL.
