Lucas Oil SpeedwayWheatland, MO (January 21, 2016) – Lucas Oil Speedway and the Lucas Oil MLRA will be represented at two major offseason events this weekend.

The Kansas City Boat & Sportshow at Bartle Hall in downtown Kansas City runs through Sunday. Stop by and see Lucas Oil MLRA assistant director Ernie Leftwich along with LaRay Hankins and Kebra Keightley of Lucas Oil Speedway at the Lucas MLRA/Lucas Oil Speedway booth.

They’ll have free schedule cards for the 2016 Lucas Oil Speedway and Lucas MLRA season. Enter drawings for prizes, including race tickets, boat key chains, hats, coozies and more.

Joining the Lucas contingent will be Mike and Debbie Faulconer and their retro Drag Boat “Panic Mouse.”

The show features expanded hands-on educational seminars and specials on hundreds of boats, RVs and marine accessories, the Kansas Boat & Sportshow is the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts to dive into summer.

Show hours are through 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. For more info visit kansascitysportshow.com.

In Sedalia, the 18th annual Bodee’s Racers Auction and Trade Show is Saturday and Sunday at the Mathewson Exhibition Center on the Missouri State Fair Grounds.

Long time area racer Jason Bodenhamer puts on the annual event, bringing out a slew of consignors for a massive two-day auction including cars, chassis, tires, trailers, parts and more.

Many vendors will have products and services on display at the Mathewson Center, including Lucas Oil Speedway and the Lucas Oil MLRA.

Lucas Oil Speedway Assistant General Manager Danny Lorton and track announcer Kevin Fletcher will be on hand at the Lucas Oil Speedway/Lucas Oil MLRA booth. Stop by and grab a 2016 schedule, class rules information, driver registration forms and ask any questions about the upcoming season.

Bodee’s Racers Auction and Trade Show started with its first inaugural event in 1999. Since then the annual event has grown to be the biggest in the state.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, MO. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it’s entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
