Pontoon Beach, IL (March 25th, 2016) – For the first time in the twelve years that Kevin & Tammy Gundaker have owned Tri-City Speedway, the scheduled season opener will NOT be postponed due to weather! Tri-City Speedway located in Pontoon Beach, IL gets the 2016 racing season started this tonight with a complete program of racing including DIRTcar Late Models, DIRTcar Modifieds, B-Modifieds, Street Stocks & Factory Stocks.

Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands open at 5:30pm. Drivers meeting will be at 6:15pm with hotlaps immediately following the drivers meeting. Racing will kick off at 7:15pm. Grandstand admission is $12 with kids 12 years and younger free in the grandstands.

Come out and enjoy your Good Friday and see your favorite drivers battle it out on the 3/8 mile dirt oval.

Tri-City Speedway is located at 5100 Nameoki Road (Rt 203). From Interstate 270, take exit 4 and head south. The track is less than a half mile from I-270.
