  1. I don’t see where tricity has posted it yet

  2. Seriously Pevely cancels because of 54 deg weather?

  3. I’m sure some will disagree with me on this, but just figured I’d voice my opinion on this…I’m 35 years old and have been around racing my entire life. My dad retired from racing after 25 years. I love racing just as everyone else does, BUT tracks today are too eager to start the season off way too early! When I was growing up, we raced when the school year ended and finished when the school year started. It was pretty much a May-Aug sport. When you try to start in Feb and March, you face many weather obstacles. You are still gonna have summer rainouts, but they are not as numerous. Many times we have planned to leave town to race a 2 day Friday and Saturday Feb or March or even November show that gets canceled due to cold temps. I’ve already taken off work and used a vacation day just to lose it in the end. Trust me I’ve sat at many racetracks in my life in near freezing temps, but most people refuse to do it. I just think we need to get back to a normal season where we don’t face these obstacles as much. Scheduling an early season or late season show is a big gamble for facilities. Just my 2 cents lol.
