St. Charles, MO (April 7th, 2016) Tri-City Speedway, Belle-Clair Speedway and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 have all decided to cancel this weekend’s racing programs due to the very cold and windy forecast for this weekend. With high temperatures forecasted in the low 50s and low temperatures forecasted to be in the lower 30s with 20+ mph winds, both tracks determined it just would not be an enjoyable experience for racers and fans.
Tri-City Speedway’s next race will be Friday, April 15th with the Deuces Wild special that will feature the MOWA Winged Sprint Cars, UMP DIRTcar Late Models and UMP DIRTcar Modifieds all battling for $2,000 to win! Grandstands will open at 5:30 with races at 7:15pm. Grandstand admission will be $20 with kids 12 years old and younger FREE.
Belle-Clair Speedway’s next race is also on Friday, April 15th with the Non-Wing Nationals that includes the WAR Non-Winged Sprint Car Series, POWRi Micro Sprints and Mod Lites/Dwarf Cars. Grandstands open at 5pm with racing at 7pm.
Federated Auto Parts Raceway will resume racing on Saturday, April 16th with a complete show featuring UMP DIRTcar Late Models, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar Pro Modifieds, AARA Sportsman and AARA Pro 4 Stocks! Grandstands open at 5pm with racing at 7pm. Grandstand admission is $12 with kids 12 years old and younger FREE.
