Belleville, IL(April 15, 2016)-In a race that saw three drivers lead at least eight laps each, Joe B. Miller led the final seven laps to pick up his first career Boss Chassis WAR Series win.

Rookie Clinton Boyles paced the field early from his second starting spot as he moved by Tucker Klaasmeyer going into turn one.

Boyles set a furious pace on the fifth-mile oval as he was chased early on by Terry Babb.  With the leaders in heavy lapped traffic, Boyles would get a little high and into the wall allowing Babb to move by on lap thirteen.  The first stoppage of the race would happen with sixteen laps complete as Austin Brown got upside down in turn two ending the Millstadt, IL driver’s evening.

Babb set the pace on the restart as Miller was on the move.  The two drivers gave the fans their money’s worth as Miller would move by Babb in one turn to have Babb return the favor in the next turn.  Miller would lead lap twenty one with Babb moving back by to lead laps twenty-two and twenty three.  Babb’s great run would come to and end on lap twenty four as a car spun in front of the leaders in turn four.  Miller ran up on the wall to avoid the car and Babb came to a stop on the frontstretch ending his evening.

Once the field went green again, Miller was the class of the field as he went on to the win in his #51B.

Boyles was a strong second in his first ever WAR start with Zach Daum in the third spot.  Shane Cockrum was fourth with Klaasmyer rounding out the top five.  TJ Muths was sixth followed by hard charger Warren Johnson coming from nineteenth to seventh.  Rounding out the top ten were Kenny Potter, Pete Palazzolo, and Kent Buckley.

Heat winners for the nineteen car field were Chris Parkinson, Klaasmyer, and Daum.
The Boss Chassis WAR Series will be in action again tonight Saturday April 16th at the St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, MO.
