West Burlington, Iowa (Saturday, May 20, 2017) – Rains over night Friday and Saturday morning have forced the officials at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa to cancel Saturday nights May 20th weekly races. This will now set up a double header weekend, with action being held both Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th.

First up on Saturday, May 27th will be Fleck Sales Fan Appreciation Night, with all adult, seniors, and student grandstand admission only $5. As always kids 10 & under are FREE! Pit passes will be $25. In action on the night will be the WT Gabeline & Sons Trucking 305 Sprints, Victory Lane Suspensions IMCA Modifieds, Pepsi IMCA Stock Cars, Casebine Credit Union IMCA SportMods, and Sonny’s Market 4-Cylinders.

The pit gates on Saturday will open at 4:30 PM, the grandstands at 5 PM, hot laps at 6:15 PM, and racing at 7 PM.

Then on Sunday, May 28th the Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders will make there second stop of the season at the track, as the season opener was held back on April 1st. Thirty-three teams signed in back then, with Austin McCarl claiming the win. Joining the Sprint Invaders on Sunday will be the IMRA Midgets, Sunoco Fuels Mod Lites, Crazy Coyote Mini Hauler Trucks, Vintage Sprints, and Vintage Super Modifieds. Track points will be awarded in the IMRA Midgets and Mod Lites.

Some of the drivers expected are Jon Agan, Josh Schneiderman, Ryan Jamison, Tanner Gebhardt, Jamie Ball, Jarrod Schneiderman, John Greenwood, Nate VanHaaften, Cody Wehrle, Brayden Gaylord, Ben Wagoner, Harold Pohren, John Schulz, Justin Buchholz, Rob Weuve, Dave Getchell, and many more.

Pit gates on Sunday will open at 4 PM, the grandstands at 5 PM, hot laps at 6:15 PM, and racing at 7 PM. Grandstand admission will be $18 for adults and seniors (60+), students will be $12, and kids 10 & under FREE! Pit passes will be $35.
