Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Visits Illinois Memorial Day Weekend

Glasgow, KY- May 22, 2017 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com) – The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will present three events in Illinois over the Memorial Day holiday weekend at three different venues.  The weekend begins at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL on Friday May 26 ($1,500 to win/$200 to start), followed by a Saturday May 27 visit to Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, IL ($2,000 to win/$200 to start), and concludes at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, IL on Sunday May 28 ($3,000 to win/$225 to start).

 

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL on Friday May 26 and the tour will be in competition in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and a 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main event.  Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Farmer City Raceway on Friday May 26 will be the track’s Super Late Model, Pro (Crate) Late Model, and Street Stock divisions.  Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50.  All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money.

 

The following evening on Saturday May 27, the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, IL.  The tour will be in competition in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and a 30 lap, $2,000 to win/$200 to start A-Main event.  Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at FALS on Saturday May 27 will be the track’s Super Late Models ($2,000 to win), Pro (Crate) Late Models ($1,000 to win), Street Stocks ($400 to win), and Sportsman ($400 to win).   Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50.  All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money.

 

The weekend concludes on Sunday May 28 at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, IL.  The series will be in action in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and a 35 lap, $3,000 to win/$225 to start A-Main event.  Also, joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Fayette County Speedway on Sunday May 28 will be the track’s Hornet, Street Stock, and B-Mod ($750 to win) divisions.  Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50.  All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money.

 

Activities for the Friday May 26 event at Farmer City Raceway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing.  All times CDT.  Ticket prices for Farmer City Raceway on Friday May 26 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, while a pit pass will be $35.

 

Activities for the Saturday May 27 event at Fairbury’s American Legion Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 3:00 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with practice laps set to begin at 5:50 p.m., followed by time trials at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by green flag racing.  All times CDT.  Ticket prices for FALS on Saturday May 27 in the general admission area will be $20 for adults, children ages 6 to 12 $5, and children ages 5 and under free, while a pit pass will be $35.

 

Activities for the Sunday May 28 event at Fayette County Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 3:30 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice laps set to begin at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by time trials and green flag racing.  All times CDT.  Ticket prices for Fayette County on Sunday May 28 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, children ages 6 to 12 $5, and children ages 5 and under free, while a pit pass will be $35.
