(Salem, IN) – Lebanon I-44 Speedway officials announced today the postponement of this weekend’s JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance event. Due to the significant rain forecast leading up to and in to this weekend, and the significant travel involved for many of the teams, track officials have decided to postpone the I-44 ” Masters of the Pros 144″ until Monday, July 3rd. The reschedule date was the ONLY date available after reviewing the track and series schedules.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway co-owner David Willard commented, “This is a very important race for us and the racing industry, with $8,000+ on the line for the winner. We just didn’t want to see the racers spend the money on travel this weekend and not get a chance to race. There are no other major Pro Late Model races scheduled for the July 3rd weekend, so we are excited for all the racers and fans to put the event on that date. The last time we ran this event on that weekend, it was one of the most successful events we’ve had, and we look forward to sharing that excitement with everyone over the Independence Day Holidays.”

The track will have an open practice Sunday evening July 2nd, with an evening race on Monday, July 3rd. More details on the weekend and detailed weekend schedules will be release in the coming days.
