Past and Present Flagmen

I'm starting a list of all the past and present flagmen...............any association, track, group, etc. They can/could have worked any form of local (within 100 miles of the Arch) motorsports (stocks, open wheel, drags, boats, motorcycles, karts, quarter-midgets, monster trucks, sports cars, etc.) since 1903. If possible I'd like to know all the tracks that they flagged at over their career. If any of them have passed away I'd like to note that as well. And finally I'd like to try and keep track of when they started and stopped flagging (i.e., 1975 -1989).

Here's a few to get us started...........

"Fats" Booten - Godfrey Speedway
Gary Weber - Alton Speedway
"Hoot" Gibson - Tri-City Speedway
Daryl Tryson - St. Louis Region, Sports Car Club of America, Mid-America Raceway, St. Louis International Raceway, Gateway International Raceway
Don Hoener - Allied Auto Racing Association, Belle-Clair Speedway
Mike McGinnitey - Allied Auto Racing Association, Belle-Clair Speedway, I-55 Raceway

Thanks...............
Eileen

Btw,did Hoot flag at White City????

You beat me to the punch Parts. Leo flagged for Allied back in the day when they did standing starts except for the Handicap event, aka 6 fastest and now dash. Leo flagging and Al Brinkmeyer on the mic, he's down to the 3rd row,he's down to the 2nd row,he's down to the first row ,watch your cars and watch your flagman, they're off. They were awesome.
