Ed Dixon #50

The Tiffany motorsports crew & Dixon, Would like to Thank all the sponsors and FANS for standing behind us and all the support that has been given!!!! But, we also get our motivation from all the negativity! We have re-starter from the bottom and guarantee that we will work our way back to the top. We have proven ourselves over the last few weeks with clean racing and good finishes with minor mechanical issues. We have worked day and night around the clock to catch up on the new technology. I have to say we have one of the BEST drivers and I think that was proving Friday night at B.C. When leading the race and a car flips in-front of us and we hit the wall to avoid hitting the car which caused our flat tire. Restarted 18th with 11 laps to go and finished 7th. We are very proud of what we have done and what we have got. Each driver and crew have their days good and bad.

All we want to do is RACE.
And that's what we will do!

Very well said and sooooooooo true! I dont get the negativity but then again some people have nothing better to do but judge others when all there talent is to hold a beer and yell in the stands. Good job guys and keep working on that car and youll be up front week in and week out soon!

they know they don't have the equipment to run with that kind of caliber of teams that would show up that night

I thank you guys for getting Ed back behind the wheel were he belongs. I used to go to the track twice on weekends just to watch MY favorite driver (Dixon) to race. But when he was gone. I wasnt going as ofton because Ed wasnt there. Now Im pump again about going racing and it all you guys that made it happen. THANK YOU and see you next week. Good Luck Eddie.

Dirt hound before you go running your mouth why don't you get your facts straight. I'm glad Dixon is a man who stands behind his word and does what he says he will Ed is a class act!!!

I am 44 years old, a long time Eddy fan and I must say he had me on my feet, and many many others in turn 4 stands with that heat race win Friday at Belle Claire and it would have been an awesome finish with him and Franky had that wreck not happened in front of him. I picked an awesome weekend to come home and watch some local racing and got to see my favorite driver from that area drive like it was the 1980s all over again, thank you for putting Ed back where he belongs! As for the negativity, I've always equated that to Jealousy. There aren't many tracks in the area that boast of a Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer so hate all you want, the proof is etched in stone. At one time Dixon won four races in a row at I-55 agains all the travelling dudes, 'nuff said!

before ripping on somebody you should know his plans since I don't have enough resources to go the Dream I am planning on going to bellevegas this friday

Well let's see, after some time off Ed,P.J. and crew come back to racing, and from what I saw the first race back at pevely they pull off a solid top 5 finish. AWESOME! I got into racing because I love watching Dixon drive, I've also met him and P.J. Both super nice! I drive the #80 sportsman at pevely this is my first year in the car, trust me they make it look easy. While Ed was gone there was something missing at the track in my eyes. He is an awesome driver and they are a great team, give it time they will find a groove and be back in victory lane! One last thing anyone who likes to get on here and talk smack about the drivers, well I ask u, where is ur racecar? Atleast I'm trying!

Jake:
Nice well thought out post. I was at Pevely Saturday night and did see some of the issues you had. Keep trying and it will eventually all come together. You are living the dream that many others would like to do. The last line of your post is right on..."At least I'm trying". Stay with it guy !

Our base shedule will be Belle-Vegas and I-55. And some Summer National shows. We are on a tight budget and still waiting to finalize some sponsorships. And we still have space available.
