It is the security system more than likely. Most of the time when it blows the fuse under the hood the car won't start at all for even that second. But go out and leave the key on like everyone has said for 10 or 15 minutes, then start it up. Should be fine after that.
Ecotec is sold. Guy picked it up Saturday, drove up to Lincoln for the big $1500 to win. Not only did he make the feature, but started 20 something and finished 4th. Not bad for his first time in a front wheel drive car.
The 2.4l twin cam is still available. Got a few guys interested. These...
Got two cars for sale.
Won the 2008 track championship at Charleston Speedway with the combination of both of these cars, and the 2006 Vermilion County Speedway track championship with the 98' Cavalier.
First one is 04' Chevy Cavalier 2.2l Ecotec, 5 speed. Has around 46,000 miles on it. I...
Some more info on the car. It has around 80,000 miles on it. The cage is an older TCA cage that was in a street car. It has a kirkey seat, seat cover is not in the greatest of shape. The car does run good. My nephew jumped in the car for the first time Sunday at Danville. And finished 4th after...
Here are a few more pictures from awhile back. This car has only ran 3 nights. It does have a dent or two, but nothing that can't be popped out. I believe it has a heat win when my Dad drove it. The only reason we are selling it is we do not need 3 cars.
We have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier 2.2l (2200) 5sp. Car is race ready. Low miles (I will check tonight to get exact mileage) The only reason we are getting rid of it is we have 2 other cars already. Asking $1200 obo. Pm me or leave a message on here. Car is located in Ashmore, IL 61912
You may not have to put all the wiring back in. When you unhooked everything it may have just kicked the anti theft system on. First check the fuses under the hood. There should be one for the pcm or ecm, I'm not sure what it says. If it is good, go ahead and try to start it, when it dies, don't...
Is it an auto or 5 speed?? And where are you located? What are you looking to get out of it? If you don't want to post on here just send me a pm.
Thanks,
Jim
I'm probably a little late on this, but does anyone remember the reason why Kyle Busch was even close to spin Jr. is because his teammate stayed on the track intentionally to bring out a caution. I still think Denny Hamlin should get some kind of point deduction or something for that. When Jr...
