Just wanted to say thanks to Highland for a great night of racing. City of highland took care of the electric post haste, track was fast and as soon as power was back on they got the show moving right along. Thanks to the staff for all you did!
Great night of racing at Highland last night. Saw some drivers new to the track and some that returned again. Late models were racin hard and the show was completed by 10ish! Great job guys!
Big part of it I think is Brownstown, IL moved from sun to sat. That made a huge divide even though they're 45min away. Harrison was able to make both but with only 5min to spare.
Wow that's sad, just goes to show what all the negativity over the web can do. No your never going to please everyone but all that effort and money spent and all they got in return was a bunch of crap from a lot of people. I think everyone's untitled to an opinion but openly accusing the owners...
Yea Mike was hella fast last night. Swear if it wasn't for the multiple cautions putting him on the outside of Hoffman I think he would have taken the checkered. It is what it is though. Showed how patience and learning the track as you race pays off.
Yeah well, old slide job bob tried to get one in on Shepard tonight but epic fail. Granted Bobby was awesome tonight in the LM feature but Shepard saw it coming a mile away and slid right back underneath him to take his spot back. That's the kids move and the fact is he doesn't give a crap...
Gotta agree. Im a huge sport mod fan mainly because a cousin drives the class but I honestly really enjoy watching them run. But it would be nice to see them utilize as much of the year as they can with all the classes.
My sympathies for the Ward family. He was obviously angry at Tony regardless of fault or no. Emotions run hot and we do things we normally wouldn't and in this case it had a tragic end. I would say hopefully we all learn something from this but even if rule changes happen there are sure to be...
