I want to give Kevin and crew a thumbs up for track prep. It was the best for a winged sprint car race we've seen in a long time. A little work during the night kept it in good shape and provided multiple grooves in every race. I'd be all for more wing races there with that kind of track...

I wouldn't mind if all tracks had curfews. Too many allow shows to drag on way too long. Midnight is much too late for a normal weekly show. imo.

Kudos to WP for taking a stand and sticking to their guns. If more tracks and series would do so we'd have more racers and probably spend less money doing it. The fear of making someone mad and plain old favoritism does nothing but hurt the sport.

Now it's on the same weekend as the big ASCS 2 day show at Wheatland. A lot of the NSL guys run 360s occasionally too. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Making it 2 days and paying more can't hurt.

How many times is this track going to try stock cars? With so many tracks in the same general area already running stock cars aren't you just going to be spreading them and the potential paying customers even thinner? What's going to be different enough to cause a good number of fans and cars...

Yes it was. They determined the RF stop came off on the back straight. He wasn't even at full speed yet. BTW, they got another car out and he won the A main later that night.

And we thought that was a short trip! I guess it's just depends on what you want to do. Unfortunately not many want to race two nights a week anymore.
