When we were on street tires you never knew who was going to win out of about ten of us. Maby we just had more good cars and driver then idk but the racing sure seemed better. I do like how imca checks everything down to even the frame.
We could start Midwest Street Stock Association. Get all the guys from Highland Tri city Brownstown together and make our own rules. Put so much in each race and have 4 track points race kinda like summer nationals for street stocks. Highland Tri City Brownstown and the final race at I 55.
But when we ran on street tires you could run the same tires all year with no disadvantage. The only time we had to replace were when we poped 1. So in the long run cheaper.
It just says all engine components must remain stock. They used to make us pull the inspection plug. Haven't seen it done in along time either. That's why I started this post not to call anyone out but to get tracks to take tech serious again they really have been slacking the last few years. I...
I just think we need to have a good tech program where you never know what there checkin but you know there probably going to check somthing. Most if not every night. Thank you Charlie for checking somthing lets hope other tracks keep it up too. I know highland checked front ends last week too.
