Greg Hodnett's wife talks about sprint car safety...

Yes. Sprintcar Racing had some down moments in 2018. I feel for the family and friends of those drivers, and all, that experienced the ugly side of this sport. We watch drivers do amazing things in cars, we often dismiss the risk.

I guess they’ve been off so long the forgot how to score. When a car loops and stops yellow comes out they don’t get their spot. Do they? Rick Worley car 9

    Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all ! My love affair with auto racing dates back those early days when the Charlie Bowl was the place to be on Sunday nights. Little did I know, I was enrolling myself into a really big family. Like in any family, there are members I prefer more than others, there are moments...

    B-ville

I truly don't believe the 750 pounder micros is damaging the track. People say dumb things. In an era when dirt tracks are dropping like flies perhaps it's time to take a good look at logistics. Week in and out the micros at not only B-ville plus other tracks, is the largest car count division...

    Get well Mike Hammerle

Thoughts and prayers for Mike and the family. Keep him in line Linda. He is a tough bird I'm surprised he didn't try to do the work himself in the shop. Rick Worley

    You just can't fix stupid

NASCAR has evolved into a joke. It is all bout patty-cake with TV and sponsors. Once I was a hardcore viewer who tuned in weekly. I havnt wasted my time watching a race for several years.

    MUD IS THE ANSWER

Wearing the hat from a competitors vantage point I understand that dryslick black surfaces is less costly in some senses. But as a fan in the bleachers I agree a heavy track does entertain more. That is only my two cents worth on a thread sure to see responses

We've lost another friend of the sport

Over the years I was blessed with attending many nights of racing with Tony. The racing will kick off again come spring, but a part will forever be missing. Tony and all his family are in my prayers. Rick Worley

    What a shame

Jimmy, if you fail to give the boot to the joker stirring the pot as if being a druggy enhances a drivers ability to race, are questions if those habits serve as an evil to the sport we love, and society as a whole, go ahead a pull the plug on my membership. Rick Worley
