Were you at BC? Seriously... That accident was caused by a wheel and axle coming out of the right rear of the 16 car. It was OBVIOUS that the accident was due to this, NOT the lights. In fact, the accident occurred on the side of the track where the lights WORKED.

While I do think it was a pretty shoddy thing to do (start the LM feature just so they could call it a night), I do agree with Dean Hoffman. You will get to see a full show next weekend AS WELL AS the make-up features from Sunday. So, if you're a BC regular, you will get $2 off your regular...

What's wrong with a few guys dressing up in costumes having fun? There are concerts at most big NASCAR races. There are halftime shows at football games. And so on... Those guys dressed up to give the fans some entertainment. After all, racing is entertainment to the fans and I see nothing wrong...
