They need more than one track in the Midwest to make a go of it. It is too hard to buck UMP in this area.

You are right. They had 16 B Mods for $5,000 to win and 10 A Mods for $1,000 to win. That is not very good. Can't stay open with numbers like that. Dropping UMP was not a very wise decision.

Going to be tough to run all year with the car counts that low. Don't know if going USRA was the right direction to go in UMP country.

Will not help anyone. I am afraid Flora will be lucky to stay open all season after dropping UMP.

Rumors start this time every year about Red Hill opening up. Don't ever see it happening. The place is in the middle of nowhere and the track is terrible.

When they bought the place they purchased 468 acres for $900,000 and had to pay auction fee of $90,000.

Sounds like the state bought or took 36 acres and gave them $510,000 for it.

I knew this day would come when Moyer would slow down and I hate to see it. Just glad that I got to see one of the best to ever sit in a late model ( would include Scott Bloomquist and Jeff Purvis).
