Scott Kalitta lost his life June 21st 2008 in the final round of qualifying... when his car exploded in fire and was unable to get the car slowed down before the barrier at the end of the shut down area of the track... :(

I think the class is a good class to, though there needs to be a rule change to car weight... the cars are too heavy and it will pay havoc on the parts on the car, from drive line to suspension... Lower the weight go for like 1475 lbs which would be a hundred pounds more than a 360 that runs...

If the parents and kid really are ok with him driving the car just do what Daniel Adler did, go get emancipated, Daniel of you are not aware of has been driving 410 sprints since he was 14! and that is how he did it, it is not about what bobby wants or doesnt it is all about...

I managed to catch that race on tv as well today and it was a good for sure, babb came from 24 up to finish second and stewart and frank put on a good show, wished frank would have let up a lil to let stewart get the slide job in, he would have had enough momentum to have let off and dive...
