I also just found out about this, truly a great loss for the racing community. He as certainly entertaining to listen to at the track. Glad I had the opportunity to listen to him announce! RIP Mike! My next trip to I55 certainly won't be the same.

Was there and was pretty shocked when they announced Clanton's car won. Really didn't see that coming. Frank's car was much better looking IMO.

Honestly ever since Darke county's finest has been on constant patrol through the campgrounds the atmosphere has not been the same. You can get away with more at Indy or any Cup race than you can at Eldora. I still love going and camping but it's changed and not for the better, imo.

QQ Yea, he does make a good point, but he made that good point in the first 5 mins of the interview and then continued crying about it for the next 15 mins, or however long. If you don't like the format don't race the race, PERIOD. plan and simple as that. Otherwise, quityer*****in about it.

Is this for the Nationals (USA Outlaw Nationals, or whatever the race is now called?)
