Also, I wasn't against changing the tire rule. I just think that May 1st is way to soon. Racing Starts in April. Assume we get two rain outs. So we have 2 weeks to burn use our tires before we have to buy all new ones. You need 6-7 tires minimum to race. Tires are not getting any cheaper.

Yes jimmy, it was discussed last year and the year before. It was voted down on both occasions. I am not telling you anything you don't know but there was not any reason to assume that peoples view had changed on the topic.

It seems weird to me for this to save money for the middle of the road teams by making their/our tires and spares obsolete just a few weeks into the season. Its not gonna save us any money if we have to go out and buy 10 tires just to start racing. I like wear the idea is going but it would...

Any Way that you could lengthen the burn off period or maybe allow D's on the front a lil longer then may 5th. I am sure that we are not the only team that has a bunch of D's. There is no chance that we will be through all of them by may 5th. I like allowing them on the frontend.
