FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – March 2, 2014 - What started out to be just a “practice track” will be open to all racers in just two short weeks as the newly built Longdale Speedway in Longdale, Oklahoma will kick off their inaugural season with a $1000 to win Enduro on Saturday, March 15.

Track owner Jessie Hoskins bought himself a southern sport mod last year and was looking for some seat time. When area drivers heard about his “practice track,” they encouraged him to build a new track for weekly competition since the only track in the Enid area has been shut down. Now this new, half mile clay oval track will host competitive racing for the first time and give area racers and fans a taste of what to expect for the entire race season, albeit with the normal “first race adjustments.”

Entry fee is just $75 and all pit passes are $25. Payout for the top five finishers are:

1) $1000, 2) $500, 3) $300, 4) $200, 5) $100.

Car numbers and starting positions will be issued in order of registration. Do not put car numbers on your car until you have registered for this event and your number has been issued too you.

Gates will open at noon with racing slated for a 2:00 PM start time.

Official rules for this enduro can be found on the tracks official website www.longdalespeedway.net. There you will also find the 2014 track schedule, photos of the track and official rules for all divisions competing this year. For more race information or to inquire about the new Longdale Speedway call promoter Jack Hammock (580) 402-2405 or Martin Bond (580) 732-0313.

Longdale Speedway is located a quarter mile south of the city of Longdale on highway 58.
