CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series has two weeks left in the 2014 season. Week 26 will be a light one with just six events on the schedule which will be good for some drivers, and bad for others. The top two spots in the point standings have been determined, but just ten points separate third through tenth.

Last weekend, Chris Holley of Dayton, TX has clinched the 2014 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series National Championship with a “Perfect Score” of 700 points, and Mike Palasini Jr. of Leland, MS has clinched the National Championship Runner-Up spot for the second straight season.

There are still eight more points fund-paying spots to be decided in the next two weeks with 13 drivers still eligible for them. Some will get to run at their home tracks, and others will not because they’re home tracks are not on the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Week 26 schedule of events.
