late 70's photograpers from Godfrey Illinois Race track

Can anyone help me find out who Sandy and Charles (SAN-CHAR STUDIOS) are? They were listed as track photographers late 70's early 80's at Godfrey and possibly else where. Are they still around?

I remember Sandy & Charles. He came by our shop once and took pictures of our car. (555 Triple Nickel)

Im His nephew. Spent almost every sat. At Godfrey from age 11 to 21 or so. Many great childhood memories there. Sure could go for a buffalo fish sandwich!! And yes he was!!! Thanks!

Yes. Bob whitehead? Just got another pic. Of him today from my father. Only it's a red fastback! I'm not smart enough to figure out to attach the pic.

It was red when i sat in it! He changed the color later from what i remember.

I think I might have a picture of the car running around somewhere. I seem to remember it being light blue and white. Not sure the name sounds familiar though.

Charlie Guthrie lives in Pleasant Hill, Il and divorced from Sandy now married to the former Donna Bott Thornton.

Is this the car you were thinking of? Pictures are from Tri-City, I'd say around 1977 or 78.
