CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Week 4 action Presented By AR Bodies will feature seven races in four states with two events on Friday night and five races on Saturday night. Drivers from four different states are represented in the Top 10 of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings, and separated by just 28 points.


The NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 4 action will be highlighted by the $1,000-to-win Mississippi Street Stock Series at Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL on Saturday night. The race will be co-sanctioned by the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division.


Week 4 NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division competition will begin on Friday night at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS, and at Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL. Also hosting Saturday night races will be Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN, Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.


Richie Stephens of Salem, AL leads the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 140 points, and holds a three-point advantage over John Smartt of Manchester, TN and Branden Harris of Molino, FL, who are tied for the second spot in the standings with 137 points apiece. Larry Faulk of Monroeville, AL is fourth with 136 points.


David Windham of Florala, AL is fifth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 128 points, and Scotty Vowell of Philadelphia, MS is sixth with 126 points. Bo Bailey of Milton, FL is seventh with 125 points, and Jake Senterfitt of Laurel Hill, FL is eighth with 124 points.


Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS is ninth in the standings after the first three weeks of competition with 118 points, and Scooter Ware of West Point, MS rounds out the top ten in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 112 points.


In other NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division news, the winner of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Street Stock Division race at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on April 11, Sam Maxie of Vancleave, MS, has been disqualified after the samples from both rear tires of Maxie’s car came back from independent lab testing and were found to have been chemically altered.


Maxie has been suspended from NeSmith Racing competition for 30 days and fined $500 for the rule infraction. That gives the win to Brooks Strength of Raymond, MS in the Sauls Farm Chevrolet. The points have been adjusted accordingly and posted at www.nesmithracing.com.


Drivers in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division will compete against each other nationally using a points system that will count their best 14 weekly point totals over a 27-week season from March 23 through September 27. The $5,000 National point fund will pay $2,000 to the National Champion and pay back to the Top 10 drivers in the final point standings.


NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division competitors also have the option to compete with the economical steel-head 350 horsepower Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine that is available at NeSmith Chevrolet in Claxton, GA for $3,495 with free next day delivery anywhere in the Southeast.


The top five and seven of the Top 10 drivers in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings after the first three weeks of competition have a $3,495 Chevrolet Performance 602 Circle Track Engine under the hoods of their respective race cars.
