Cleveland, Tennessee (10/10/16) – Jimmy Elliott piloted his Car Smart Auto Sales #J39 Elliott’s Tire Center/ Longhorn Race Car into battle over the weekend in the Crate Invitational Classix at Fort Payne Motor Speedway, where he finished in the 3[sup]rd[/sup] position.
“We had a good car on Thursday night at practice, and we kept tweaking on it all weekend,” said Elliott. “We were just a little off in the feature, but we’ll definitely take a 3[sup]rd[/sup]-place finish and head on to the next event.”
Jimmy Elliott traveled to Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fort Payne, Alabama) over the weekend to take part in the inaugural Crate Invitational Classix, which was sanctioned by the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA). After qualifying 6[sup]th[/sup] fastest Elliott went on to race his way to a 3[sup]rd[/sup]-place finish in the $5,000-to-win feature behind race winner, Sam Seawright, and Ethan Hunter.

Elliott will next return to action on October 21-22 with a trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) to compete in a pair of NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series events.
