Inside Line Promotions - FORNEY, Texas (July 19, 2017) - Travis Rilat is hungry to return to Victory Lane during the famed Jim Albert Memorial Gold Cup for the first time since he claimed his second straight title in 2013.
Rilat and car owner Richard Saumure will return to Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this Friday and Saturday for Canada's oldest oval racing event.

"We're really looking forward to this weekend," Rilat said. "It's one of the events circled on the schedule each year. It's always a lot of fun and we've had a lot of success there."
Rilat posted third-place results during both nights of the doubleheader last season. This year he's already earned a pair of wins driving for Saumure, who is coming off two wins last weekend when J.J. Hickle filled in for Rilat in Montana.
"I want to congratulate the No. 39c team and J.J. for sweeping the weekend," Rilat said. "I was busy with work and unable to attend the races so it was great to see the team continued to run up front."
Rilat last scored a victory at Castrol Raceway in July 2015 during a Gold Cup preliminary night.
