These rules make no sense at all! Heck...look at the rules for the other motor pertaining to the intake and carb compared to the 351C and the 327 and 350!

Look at the cam rule first it said standard lifter size solid or hyd then it says cams must be hyd non roller and what about the news tire m30 and 60 guys were running last year what r they going to do set them in shop

I've seen cars running the last several years that are illegal by the body rules stated hear. Only stock piece was the very top of the roof nothing ever said. Why make rules and not enforce them. Especially ones that are obvious like the body. lol

It looks like the only changes are to the body & interior rules.
Maybe they are trying to get them back to stock appearing.

Better yet...why was these rules posted without any input from the drivers owners? I didn't see it posted anywhere or never heard that tjere was going to be a rules meeting for this class! I was at a machine shop today when one of the people on the race committee called and was asking questions about a certain engine because they was going to jave a rules meeting for the b-mod! Why wasn't this class giving the same opportunity? By these rules here you have done nothing more than eliminated over half of the cars! You want to make it affordable but now they have to go buy new shocks add more metal to the floor pan ect ect....sounds to me they just want the class eliminated! Well it's very well on its way with these rules!

I believe they are still going to run the SS class. This is going to be a new class close to the old bomber rules. Highland was talking about doing that.

Not saying there isn't. But I raced purestocks for 6 yrs and don't personally know anyone who didn't run. Stock location Afco,Pro, Billstien, or QA1 shocks and Afco, Landrum, or Eibach springs ect ect. I passed tech at every Stl track. So that is just rule book clutter in my opinion.

Is this a new class or redoing the existing class? Cant see either track adding a class due to time limits so wondering what this all means. I love the rules and have said for years if you made a more economical class like that it would pick up rather well and even replace the current street stock class because of more car counts.
