I don't have a dog in this fight, other than Bel-Clair is the first track that I ever went to in the early 70's. My dad started to go there in the mid-50's and didn't miss to many race nights. Unfortunately I now live in GA and my dad passed away 11 years ago. I still enjoy Belleville when ever...
$25.00 for a $5,000 to win show, be thankful it wasn't $40.00. Here in GA we pay that for a $2,000 to win show that is considered a special! with that you get qualifying, a B Main and a Feature plus about 5 other look-alike support classes that have 6-8 cars in them that drag the show on for...
Sell season passes for discounted prices, that way you are guaranteed income and have the money upfront. Don't try to make all of your money off of the pit gate, sell pit passes for reasonable prices, treat the driver fair, they will return and bring fans with them.
Be lucky you are getting to even see heat races, most tracks down here in the south qualify and then the top 10 go to the feature lining up as they qualified and the rest go to one or two semi-features and they start as they finished from 11 on back. So in essence you only get to see the top...
Come down here to the south (GA, SC, Etc...); the top 10 cars in qualifying are automatically locked into the feature. The only time you see those cars race is one time; the other cars go straight to the semi-feature. there are no heats are dashes.
charge $2.00 for every kid under 12 to get in and put that towards the purse; it would probably put en extra $1,000 in it every week and cost a family maybe an extra 6-8 dollars.
I don't think you will find a Nascar guy wanting to donate his money to this track; Schrader already owns a track just a couple of hours down the road, same with Tony and Kenny. Plus, the number one reason would probably be no ability to sell beer!!
Lets not forget that RKR is a Rocket Chasis dealer as well; and if I as a dealer had the opportunity to put my dealerships name on the side of the most winningest driver in the areas car this year I would with out a doubt. The sponsorship could be anything from a discount on the number of...
Sounds like you need to quit going to the races so much and buy another computer!!
I think you have selected hearing at the races; I know I hear many more names announced even with their nicknames then what you are talking about.
Have you ever watched a football or baseball game the "super...
Moonflow, if you have been to Eldora and West Plains you have apparently not been awake for some of the best rubbered up racing I have ever seen. West Plains is at its best when there is rubber from top to bottom and three wide racing. I seen Brian Birkhofer make one of the most historic passes...
