i am in no way saying his tires were or were not legal or prepped. My only point is, there is a lot more that goes into it than what most of the people making a lot of these comment realize!

a lot easier said than done. your tire comes in contact with a lot of stuff!! and say there is a "chemical" used on the track. you can not specify what exactly is "not right" in the tire! i mean you can but nobody is going to pay the money it costs to do such a thing.

With that being said then you have to remove your tires whenever you wash the car and take them off right when you come off the track and not put them back on until you get on the track. there are so many different things that could cause this. people are talking about tires being "soaked" in...

What do you guys think about that fact that a very well known prep distributor also makes a track treatment to keep down dust and such?

there is no way to prove anything in court. they cant prove that there is a certain chemical or anything in the tire. all they are proving is that tire "A" and tire "B" arent exactly the same

Again you guys arent understanding. It is to expensive to test for a certain chemical. And all they are doing is a comparitive test. if you run a tire that has set for a while and not been protected, it is going to lose it "natural oils" and dry out somewhat......aka dry rotting in a sense...
