Some of the problem had to do with the fact the promoter for MOWA couldn't get the event trailer out because of a major flood that hit Jacksonville, IL. Plus with all the storms and the weather being precarious and no one knowing if races would be held, I'm sure that contributed to the low...
It's sad that it's now been 5 weeks in a row with no races at SFCR. At this point, beginning to wonder if there will be more races there this year. Might be time to think about doing something with the pit area to prevent so much water from collecting there and/or ways to get the track...
But the Friday night forescast is for severe storms and it doesn't take much to flood the road leading to the raceway. I will be surprised if the race is held with that forecast. Too bad!
