Personally I like the m30 better then the A40s. They hold up better and don't over heat to junk status as fast. If people are glazing them over then my suggestion would be to not spin the tires as much.
He was at Memphis last month for the 2 day show but went up in smoke in hot laps or heat on Friday. I would say that wonderful track they had at the dome screwed some motors and they're just now finding it.
Guys last name is Trimble that bought it I believe. April 23 is predicted opening night but only work done so far is mowing of grass on track. A lot of work is needed, they asked for volunteers. Sprints(ascs warrior races on schedule), usra a mods, bmods(massive argument on going usra or no...
Absolutely not, it's a guy from marshall, mo. Edwards has done nothing for racing in central mo.
I wasn't trying to bash or start a massive argument, just informing everyone that nothing has changed. Good thing a multi grooved capital speedway was shut down and buried so this shit track could...
That's the problem, only good racing was the sprints if the cushion was there to support it. All other classes were single file dog fight on the bottom.
Maybe if I Could of won there, like you Mr. Walker I'd be a little more optimistic about it. Unfortunately everyone has found a new track or...
The fast guys get 2 features then swap tires to heats and spend at least one to two nights a week cutting and siping American racers. And always put new rfs on when new rears go on. I understand you all are unhappy with ump but usra is no different. Nothing gets done about your issues at...
What do you mean longer? Wheelbase, deck, bumper to bumper? Deck height is taller for usmts/usra. Ump allows a longer & wider nose but deck length should be about the same. The mb customs are one of the longer mods and they're body setup straight from mars is legal in both sanctions.
Any chance of Going the extra mile to keep from rubbering up tonite? I understand that it's hard to keep it racey 3 days in a row with blue sunny skies so I'm not trying to be rude, just don't want train racing on the tires.
The late models are ULMA, steel blocks. They're not a regular class at lakeside, just a few shows this year. Lakeside has the reputation to be hard on motors and sacred most of the guys away. This series draws good counts elsewhere like wheatland, warrensburg, moberly, and fulton.
Mods are $500 to win. With bounty I believe it's $1100. You'll be racing for 2nd, that's $400. You could of checked the website instead of bashing someone who is trying to help.
It deff needs help to make it multi-lane. The lighting on the track was horrible, turns 2&3 and back stretch were dangerous. Front stretch wall created a massive shadow and made it hard to tell where it was. Dig a hole and put the scales in the ground so the cars and get on&off them easier. Also...
Everyone I want to watch when we go to Illinois will be running ump and I assume the majority of people also enjoy Harrison, long, Hoffman etc in mods. Good luck to the tracks who won't be having the drivers that put fans in the stands.
And I'm telling you from my first hand experience that nothing is going to change other than who you send your membership money to and the tires on your car. What do you expect to change? The track isn't going to pull enough cars to get the $1500 championship money from Usra. Is taking 10 amods...
So all you people are gonna change your cars to meet Usra rules for one track and no chance at national points or money? Tires, bodies, no more boxed in noses, no quickchanges in bmods, etc. Has anyone looked at motor rules for amod? All the big horsepower low degree heads have to add lead in...
I went to the midgets at Kemper arena in Kansas City, that was enough for me. I'll never go to a race on a basketball court again. All the hype and build up of this race and I knew it would be a let down. It definitly was a good idea though, maybe a bigger venue could be sourced next year.
