got busy here with football and school that i forgot to update on the truck...... got it apart and the cam lobe is bad. real nice looking groves on the lob. had to push the cam lifter out through the block and about 1/4" of it is gone. just like i thought it had mushroomed the lifter. getting...

well i am back............ pull the air manifold and the valley pan off. it won't let me pull the cam lifter out. my guess is that the roller broke off and mushroom the end of it. i can't get to my engine puller right now so i am going to try and do all of this while it is still in the truck...

doc was the first person that came up to me in the pits back when sara ran it in highland. he saw i was having trouble getting the engine to do what i wanted it to. he stuck his head in there right along with me and gave me some pointers that help alot. at the time i didn't know who he was until...
