MEMPHIS, TN (September 10, 2003) – This Friday, September 12th the O’Reilly Thunder Racing Series will host the American Sprint Car Series “Cash In A Flash Fall Nationals” at the Memphis Motorsports Park Dirt Track in Memphis, Tennessee .
Leading the stampede of ASCS stars into Memphis will be Travis Rilat from Texas, who currently resides atop the series’ points. A pack of wolves are hot on Rilat’s tail as Gary Wright, Zach Chappell, and Darren Stewart are all within one hundred points of the leader. Other ASCS drivers, who are expected, include Toby Brown, Rick Behr, Matt Clevenger, AG Rains, Cody Branchcomb, and many more.
Awaiting the travelers will be a stout field of hometown drivers led by the top two point contenders, Paul Sides and Eddie Gallagher, who are separated by only five points with just a few weeks remaining in the season at MMP. Other local drivers expected include Tim Crawley, Mike Ward, Eddie Gallagher, Marshall Skinner, Bryce Vowan, Henry Gustavus, Josh Baker, Jake Shores, Ernie Ainsworth, Dale Howard, Josh Howard, and many more.
Also on the card for the evening’s event will be late models, street stocks, and mini stocks.
The pit gate opens at 4:00 with spectator gates opening at 6:00. Hot laps are at 7:00 and racing starts at 8:00.
General admission tickets are $15 for adults. Children 11 years of age and under are $5 (Age 5 and under free). Pit passes are $25 for ages 12 and up and $15 for children 6-11 (Age 5 and under free).
